An online community for the discussion of Health & Safety issues in the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry
The purpose of this online community is to foster and encourage participation in the open discussion of Health and Safety issues in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry.
In achieving this purpose we also recognise, while it is primarily a communication tool for the elected Health and Safety Representatives of the areas of work that are regulated by NOPSA under the Submerged Lands Act, we need to encourage any valuable contributions that can be made to enhance our efforts by those outside of this jurisdiction who have expertise and insights to share.

Who can contribute to HSR Online?
Access to the forums and discussion groups is controlled by a registration system designed to guarantee security and freedom to the participants and ensure the integrity of the processes. In this way, it is our intention to facilitate open and frank discussion of issues important to HSRs, in a supportive environment.
The site moderator/facilitator will provide access according to the objectives outlined above and will encourage a culture of respect and safety for all contributors. A statement of culture is one of the objectives of this forum and contributors are encouraged to check the culture page for their opportunity to express their views and contribute to the culture.
Information available to the public
We recognize the potential to share our insights and solutions to problems we face within the broader Health and Safety Community of the Oil and Gas Industry and will publish any relevant results in the public access area of this site.
